I was inducted into the Mashpit in February 2023, long before I ever expected to be, and exactly seven months before the release of this project. In the intervening seven months, I internally battled feelings of doubt and impostor syndrome, wondering how and why I could deserve the honor of Mashpit membership without any mashups released. This was a dream I'd held for a long time, but one I didn't feel I had earned in the way I wanted to.

BUTTHEAD was designed, in part, to leave a lasting impression. A memorable experience where nothing is as expected. A disc full of shitposts and dumb memes followed directly by a heartfelt album of quality mashes I worked my ass off making. This project's intent is to be entertaining, but in a meaningful and unforgettable way, because like many, I worry frequently about the concept of legacy, of what I can do in my life that's going to outlive me. I will be perfectly satisfied to go out knowing I've left the world with as much joy as I can muster. But BUTTHEAD was also designed to banish the thoughts that I don't belong in the Mashpit once and for all. So all I ask of you now is to join me in that one last battle.

A battle culminating in the goddamn Chick-fil-A Army, it seems.

Disc 1: BUTT is memeful and merciless and will leave you breathless. Disc 2: HEAD is heartfelt and intense and will be the highest effort project I've yet created. Just wanted you to know. HEAD coming some time before March 2024.
